Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Trigon Media Limited ("Trigon Media", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use Career Launch Pad (the "Service") at getcareerlaunch.app. Trigon Media Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Personal data we collect

• Account data — name or display name, email address and login credentials managed by our authentication provider.
• Assessment content — the answers, notes and career materials you enter into the modules, your generated blueprint and résumé content.
• Marketing/lead data — the email address you submit to receive free resources, if you choose to give it.
• Purchase records — transaction and order identifiers, product purchased, amount, currency and status received from our payment provider.
• Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser information, log data, pages viewed and feature usage.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email or through support channels.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment information is collected directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

2. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Creating and administering your account, and providing the modules, blueprint and résumé tools — performance of a contract.
• Processing your purchase, granting access and handling refunds — performance of a contract.
• Sending service and reminder emails about your progress and what remains locked — legitimate interests (and consent where required); you can opt out at any time.
• Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection — legitimate interests.
• Improving and troubleshooting the Service — legitimate interests.
• Meeting tax, accounting and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

3. Who we share data with

• Paddle.com Market Ltd — our reseller and Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, payment processing, invoicing, tax compliance and refunds.
• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database and authentication infrastructure, email delivery and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting and audit advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. Retention

We keep account and assessment data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 24 months after your last activity, so you can return to your blueprint. Purchase and tax records are kept for as long as required by law (typically 6–7 years). Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. We aim to respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level authorisation rules, so that your answers are only readable by your account. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your progress. Any analytics or checkout cookies set by our providers are used to measure usage and complete purchases. You can manage or clear cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
